WHO ARE WE

In 2004 Insight Cosmetics Group was established by Mina Lorenzen with the goal of delivering high quality education and products to the professional beauty industry. At that time Mina Lorenzen was one of the most skilled nail professionals in Northern Europe, running her own salon in the center of Copenhagen. She was missing a good and present supplier, that understood her business and could deliver the service and collaboration she needed.

Today Insight Cosmetics serves more than 13.000 professional salons and beauty retailers across 8+ countries in Northern Europe.
Still today, it is our finest goal that each customer of ours always can recommend our company, our employees, our education and our products warmly to others. In other words, as a customer, you should always experience the most excellent service dealing with us.

If we don't understand to add value to our products, then we only add costs - which is of course not acceptable. Our business therefore builds on a very simple philosophy, that touches everything we do:

INVOLVEMENT

To keep the global warming on a sustainable level, the international society agreed on a goal to limit the average rise of the temperature to 2°C over the preindustrial level. To reach that goal the global budget is approx. 750 billion ton CO² until year 2050. It means that the average person on earth has a yearly budget of approx. 2,3 tonne CO² every year.
Insight Cosmetics sends more than 100.000 parcels every year, and we are aware of how much transportation -both parcels and travels, are a CO² polluter. So to make sure our customers can order products with a good concience, Insight Cosmetics buys the neutralisation of 430.000 kg CO² gasses from Certified Atmosfair Projects. This amount of CO² is calculated on the basis of weight and travel distance for every single parcel as well as the yearly goal for all our employees, determined by the international society.

In 2012 we decided to adopt the - at the time - newly found orangutang baby Ruthie, that has since then grown strong and cute. Ever since, we have donated towards the Save the Orangutang Organisation in Borneo, with the mission to save and protect the strongly endagered orangutang for their survival and places to live.

Breastcancer is something a lot of women fear and something we sadly still see too often among our customers. For more than 10 years we have donated to the Cancer Society Research Center.

The renowned company Bisnode - with speciality in digital business information and data & analysis within the B2C and B2B sector - have awarded Insight Cosmetics with the gold top class AAA for more than 15 years.
